So we are, (I am), still in the setting up phase of this exciting new project and this blog post is part of creating this shiny new website.
To be honest, I'm not really sure of what I'm doing - kinda learning on the job and/or making it up as I go along.
The next horns recording session is set for Monday 26th May where we will be recording the last of the melodies for our debut album ‘Project Genesis’. The subsequent session will be to record the horn solos. After that, editing, mixing and mastering. A long but exciting process but I am still aiming to have the launch party at The Old Market Theatre in Hove in September 2025. I know the chaps that own it. Watch this space….
The recording has been and will be at the South Lanes Studios in Brighton, under the youthful but notheless expert guidance of Phoebe Bentham. I'll see if I can persude her to mix the album too becuase I very much trust her ears but she is very busy - as all top notch professionals in this business are.
So there you have it. First blog complete. Resume setting up.
